ahousenearyou Movie ReviewRush Hour 2
When I saw the first Rush Hour, we didn't have this site and we didn't review things. If we had have, I could have just cut and pasted my review for the first movie in for the second. In some respects though, this could be a good thing. The first one wasn't a bad movie, neither was this one, it was no worse than the first, it was no better. It was just the same thing. Rush Hour 2 sees Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan back at it again as agents Blah and Blah. Chris Tucker is enjoying a holiday in blah when the American Embassy is bombed and Chris and Jackie end up on the case, dueling it out with the Triad. Fairly simple plot really, but plot isn't what a Jackie Chan movie is
about. It's about the action and combined with Chris Tucker, it's about
the comedy. And while I found the action scenes to be quite good when
they had them, I thought the comedy was quite poor. Watching a big black
cocky american
Rush Hour 3 is slated for release in around 18 months time... this time they're both fish out of water (to make it different again), they visit the Australian outback and are thrown in the middle of 2 warring syndicates, one a group of bushmen the other, a group of bikers. It is set to see Jackie and Chris struggling to come to terms with their ways and customs as they try to track down the recover the all powerful Magic Pudding which was stolen by the Bikers. Sound feasible? The movie would be just a good as the second installment, cos it aint about the story. If you like action and comedy or you're really bored, you should go check it out. Rating out of 7 7's.
