Editing the trailer

Oh my god, editing is the most fun thing in the world.

We began editing last Thursday night. A dozen long necks our inspiration. It cranked, it was lots of fun. We found ourselves needing to do some reshoots for footage, so myself and Sammi took on the roles. We did some truely amazing stunt work, a fight scene in our hideously maintained backyard, in which Sammi through bad aim, punched me repeatedly rather than his target. Our next stunt involved Sammi driving Nick's car up our street trying to run me over (and yes, Sammi had been drinking)... this was some pretty impressive stunt work, I think we scared passers by though. We scared me, that's for sure.

The majority of the first days editing was spent doing these reshoots and the audio... an hour long phone call brought day 1 of editing to an end as the Lauren saga continued.

Day 2 of editing. It's a Sunday night, we've set ourselves a deadline and we had fathers day commitments through the evening. So we're really cutting it fine for time. We decide wine is the way to go this night, take it a bit easier.

It all went like clockwork... round and round, cogs turning, making little dials and things move that serve to represent the time on a round race... it was exactly like that... just without the cogs... or the dials I guess, and it pretty much had nothing to do with the time, except it was late.
