Wedding - Introduction

It had been approaching for nearly 18 months. The wedding of John and Louise, two close friends of us guys and of AHNY.

This little pictorial article will take you through the wedding from the point of view of us guys more than anything, we took a bunch of pictures on the night before, the morning of the wedding, the wedding, and of course, the reception.

Before we move onto the festivities perhaps I should introduce you to some of the characters involved.

John: The Groom. You might recognise him from the forum or for his Crazy Haiku Horoscopes. Or maybe you've seen him walking down the street impersonating Toady from Neighbours.

Lou: The Bride, the leading lady of the story.

The Wedding Celebrant: She did the whole talking during the ceremony thing and made the whole marriage bit official.

Lou's Family: These two brought up Lou and despite bringing her up with no taste in sporting teams did a good job otherwise.

John's Family: This pair combined produced John, what a stunning achievement. They should be proud, like the guy that invented the atom bomb should be proud.

Matt: Officially best man for the day, my job was to look after John, look after the rings and make a speech. Too easy.

Krouse: A fellow Groomsman, opening bowler for the Swallows and number 4 batsman. If things got rough we were relying on his wedding experience to pull us through, he was married just over a year ago and seems to have the thing sussed.

Kris: The final groomsman, the completion of the Three Musketeers. Despite seeming quiet by nature, Kris proved to be a destructive force, smashing pretty much everything that got in his way... well one vase.

The Bridesmaids: The bridesmaids role at a wedding I'm lead to believe is to look after the bride for the day, they don't have to carry ring or make speeches, not a lot of responsibility. Next time I'm part of a wedding, I want to be a bridesmaid. There was another bridesmaid, not pictured here though because I'm pretty sure she wouldn't want to be on the site.

The Boys: Sure, I've already been in a pic and so has Krouse, but we were part of the boys as well. Not a part of the official wedding program, but a big part of this wedding pictorial.

Andy: Andy really should have been in the above "boys" picture... in fact he may have been posing but just been too short to make it in shot. Be sure he was there, be sure he was loud, be sure he was offensive.

So, now that you're all familiar with everyone... how about we check out. The night before the wedding.

I've seen somebody browsing one of these articles that didn't realise the little link down the bottom took them to the next page, so in case you didn't realise... it does. Also you can navigate with the links to the left.

COOL... it sounds really interesting, show me what happened
